Wheeling 3 @ Trenton 2
This game was the third game of the season between the Nailers and the Titans, the first game in Trenton. The Nailers won the first two games in overtime. Steve Crampton scored a power play goal at 14:53 of the first period to give the Nailers a 1-0 lead. Kenny Corupe and Mark Kosick assisted on the goal. The Nailers took a 2-0 lead at 3:01 of the second period on a Evgeny Lazarev goal with Armands Berzins assisting. Crampton scored his second goal of the game at 14:22 of the second period to give the Nailers a 3-0 lead. The shorthanded goal was assisted by Kosick. Trenton scored twice in the third period to cut their deficit to one at 3-2, but could not get the tying goal. Dany Sabourin made 40 saves on 42 shots for the win.

Peoria 0 @ Wheeling 2
Dany Sabourin set a franchise record in this game for most shutouts in a season with his fifth. Ed McGrane gave the Nailers a 1-0 lead with a first period power play goal. Mark Kosick and Kenny Corupe assisted on the goal. Evgeny Lazarev increased the Nailers lead to 2-0 at 5:05 of the second period with Armands Berzins and Chris MacKenzie assisting. Sabourin faced only 14 shots for his record breaking shutout. FULL STORY
