THE WEEK AHEAD
Tuesday, December 21st Inferno vs. Pee Dee Pride Carolina Coliseum 7:30pm
This will be a rematch of last Saturday's win for the Inferno with seconds remaining in the third period. The Inferno is 2-1-0 this season and 18-7-3 all-time against the Pride. The Pride is in first place in the East Division with 32 points (15-7-2).
Sunday, December 26th Inferno @ Gwinnett Gladiators
Gwinnett is in first place in the South Division with 34 points (15-6-4). The Inferno is 1-1-1 this season and 6-3-1 overall against the Gladiators.

Thursday, December 16th INFERNO 4 South Carolina 2
The Columbia Inferno scored three unanswered goals to beat the South Carolina Stingrays 4-2. Columbia opened the scoring only 56 seconds into the game when Eric Boulton scored his second goal of the season with an assist from Steve Burgess. South Carolina tied the game at 12:26 with a goal by Mark Ardelan. The Inferno scored their second goal of the game at 11:58 of the second period by Bryson Busniuk, his sixth goal of the season. Sean Owens helped on that goal. The Inferno entered the third period with a one-goal lead. At 8:10 Brad Ralph scored on the power play with assists to D'Arcy McConvey and Steve Slaton to go up by two goals. Kyle Bruce added the insurance when he scored his fourth goal of the season at 9:27 with passes from Matt Ulwelling and Boulton. Rich Peverley scored the second goal for the Stingrays at 16:13. Mike Minard played between the pipes for the Inferno stopping 18 of 20 shots.
Friday, December 17th GWINNETT 3 Inferno1
Chanse Fitzpatrick scored the lone goal for the Inferno as they are defeated by the first place Gwinnett Gladiators 3-1. Gwinnett capitalized in the first period with goals by Dave McCulloch and Lane Manson. The Gladiators scored their third goal at 9:31 of the second period by Adam Smyth. Fitzpatrick scored his eighth goal of the season at 14:29 with assists to Trevor Demmans and Steve Slaton. Rob McVicar was in goal for the Inferno as he drops to 3-7-1, stopping 33 of 36 shots.
Saturday, December 18th INFERNO 4 Pee Dee 3
Walker McDonald scores the winning goal with seven seconds left in the game to push the Inferno past the Pee Dee Pride 4-3. Matt Ulwelling scores his fourth goal of the season with help from John Longo and Eric Boulton at 3:08 of the first period. Pee Dee tied the game at 10:21 with a shot by Jeff Szwez. The Pride went ahead by one at 1:04 of the second period with Szwez second goal of the night. Columbia answered that goal at 8:11 with a Chanse Fitzpatrick slapshot to beat goaltender Nick Boucher. Boulton scored the go ahead goal at 8:30 with a high tip in as Trevor Demmans sets him up from the boards. Pee Dee tied the game at 2:53 into the third period. Columbia battled the entire period and it paid off as McDonald scored his third goal of the season with a perfect feed from Boulton at 19:53 to steal the win from the Pride.
