Last Weeks Highlights:

12/14/04 > Long Beach 4 vs. Fresno 2

It was the third win in a row Tuesday night for the Ice Dogs, who got another strong showing by Olivier Michaud. Michaud stopped 31 Fresno shots as the Ice Dogs never trailed in the game. Chris Kenady scored two goals and NHL veteran Bill Lindsay added a goal and an assist. Nathan Martz scored the fourth and final goal for Long Beach with 6:41 remaining in the game.

12/15/04 > Long Beach 3 vs. San Diego 4 (SO)

The Ice Dogs were going for their fourth win in a row Wednesday night, but fell in an eventual shootout to the San Diego Gulls. Long Beach led 2-1 after two periods with goals by Joe Cardarelli and Marco Rosa until the Gulls tied it 1:41 into the third. Matt Shasby got his first goal as an Ice Dog midway through the third to give the Ice Dogs a 3-2 lead, but the Gulls tied it with less than five minutes to go. NHL'er Curtis Brown scored the game winner in the shootout for San Diego.

12/22/04 > Long Beach @ Bakersfield

The Ice Dogs will travel to Bakersfield on Wednesday to take on the Condors. Long Beach is 1-1-1 versus the Condors so far this season and currently are just five points out of first place in the West Division. It is the final game of a three game road trip for the Ice Dogs.
