Ice Pilots go 3-1-0 this past week. The Pensacola Ice Pilots posted a record of 3-1-0 this past week. The Ice Pilots defeated Florida last Tuesday night at Germain Arena 2-1 in overtime. Cam Keith and Jason Beckett scored the goals for the Ice Pilots. Beckett scored the game winning goal in overtime at the 1:09 mark. Frederic Cloutier was the winning goalie.
The Ice Pilots won at home on Friday night 8-4 vs. Charlotte. Dwayne Hay scored a hat trick for the Ice Pilots with 3 goals and two assists. It is the first hattrick of the season for the Ice Pilots. Tyler Beechey scored two goals and had two assists. Jordan Krestanovich, Jade Galbraith and Corey Neilson also scored goals. Frederic Cloutier was the winning goalie.
The Ice Pilots won at home on Sa! turday night 3-1 vs. Louisiana. Dwayne Hay scored two goals in the game including the first shorthanded goal of the season for the Ice Pilots. Cory Stillman scored his first goal of the season which was the game winning goal. Todd Ford improved his record to 6-0 in goal for the Ice Pilots with the win.
The Ice Pilots lost at Louisiana on Sunday 2-1 as the five game winning streak came to an end. Tyler Beechey scored the goal for the Ice Pilots and Fredric Cloutier was the losing goalie for the Ice Pilots.
The Ice Pilots go into the Christmas week with a record of 14-5-2 for 30 points. The Ice Pilots have the best winning percentage in the American Conference at .714 and it is the second best in the ECHL. The Ice Pilots are currently in second place in the South Division.
Ice Pilots play home to Florida on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will play the Florida Everblades at home on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. It is the third meeting of the season between the! two teams as the Ice Pilots are 2-0 vs. Florida winning 5-4 on Octobe r 30th and defeating Florida last Tuesday night at Germain Arena in overtime 2-1. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 17-21-1 vs. Florida including a record of 9-8-1 at home and 8-13-0 on the road.

The Ice Pilots will play at Louisiana on Sunday at 5:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots have a record of 3-2 vs. Louisiana this season losing at home on November 5th 6-4, winning in overtime at Louisiana on November 6th 3-2 and winning at Louisiana on November 30th 2-1. The Ice Pilots defeated Louisiana 3-1 last Saturday night at home and lost to the IceGators 2-1 at the Cajundome on Sunday. The Ice Pilots have an all-time regular season record of 27-37-5 vs. the IceGators including a record of 18-12-4 at home and 9-25-1 on the road.

Leading Scorers: Tyler Beechey leads the Ice Pilots in scoring with 26 points and is tied with Aaron Phillips for the team lead with 16 assists. Beechey is the 6th leading scorer in the league with 26 points. Dwayne Hay and Corey Neilson are second on the team in scoring with 18 points. Hay leads the team with 11 goals.
Tentative Practice Schedule this week; The Ice Pilots will practice on Monday at 12:00 p.m. at the Civic Center. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate on Tuesday at 10 a.m. and play home to Florida on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will leave after the game and play at Florida on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. central time. The Ice Pilots will have Thur! sday and Friday off. The Ice Pilots will leave on Saturday - Christmas night- at 7:00 p.m. for Lafayette. The Ice Pilots will play at Louisiana on Sunday at 5:05 p.m.
Dodge Player of the Week: Forward Tyler Dwayne Hay has been nominated for the ECHL player of the week as he scored five goals and picked up three assists this past week. Hay scored the first hat trick of the season for the Ice Pilots and also the team's first shorthanded goal. Frederic Cloutier has been nominated for the ECHL Goalie of the Week. Cloutier posted a record of 2-1 this past week with an overtime win at Florida, defeating Charlotte at home and losing at Louisiana 2-1. Dwayne Hay has been named as the Dodge Player of the week.
Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots leading scorer award this season. During the season, we will be updating you with the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed Ice Pilots top scorer. At the end of the season, Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will present a trophy to the Ice Pilots top scorer. Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr will also play in the game. Members of the Jr. Ice Pilots and Senior League will also participate. Assigned Players from Toronto Maple Leafs: Th e Ice Pilots currently have eight players on the roster assigned from Toronto. They are goalie Todd Ford, defenseman Dave Turon, defenseman Dominic D'Amour, center Chris St. Jacques, center Kris Newbury, center Cory Stillman, left wing Cam Keith and defenseman Tyson Marsh. Dominic D'Amour and Kris Newbury have been recalled to St. John's of the AHL.
Kerr's Kids: For the second season in a row the Ice Pilots are introducing "Kerr's Kids." Thanks to Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr and SMG (Pensacola Civic Center), the Ice Pilots would like to invite organizations devoted to helping children who are terminally ill or have special limitations to be our guest during the 2004-05 regular season for a great night of hockey. Each organization is encouraged to pick 3-4 dates throughout the regular season. The Ice Pilots will provide free admission for 12 people (We would like to have at least 6 or more children, escorts are required for the children and are counted as part of th! e 12). SMG will provide a hot dog and soda for each guest. If accessible seating is needed the Ice Pilots must be notified at least 2 days in advance and seating will be arranged. All members must stay in assigned seats. Please provide a list of attendee's 24 hours prior to game day. Listen to games on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network with the new Ice Pilots Flagship radio home AM 1620: Fans can listen to Ice Pilots games on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network. The network includes new flagship radio station AM 1620, Cox Communications and at icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. The game will also be taped delayed by Leafs TV. The pre game show for Tuesday night begins at 6:05 p.m. The pre game show for Wednesday night begins at 6:15 p.m. central time. Ice Pilots Radio Show at the Gutter Lounge again this season: The Ice Pilots Radio show will once again be broadcasted from the Gutter Lounge at Phoenix Crossing inside the new Liberty Lanes this year located at 3200 North Palafox Street. The show is broadcasted on the Ice Pilots hoc! key network from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Fans can hear the radio show on the Ice Pilots new flagship radio station AM 1620 and on the internet at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. Fans can meet the players, head coach Dave Farrish and members of the Ice Pilots office staff all season long.
