Marlies Hold Tailgate Party at Brazen Head This Saturday

The Toronto Marlies, a proud member of the American Hockey League, are holding a tailgate party at Brazen Head Irish Pub located in Liberty Village on Saturday, February 21 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. The Marlies host the Rochester Americans - AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers - at Ricoh Coliseum at 4:00 p.m.

The tailgate party will be highlighted by a Leafs Alumni vs. Canadian Forces ball hockey game which will take place in the parking lot outside of the Brazen Head Irish Pub. The Leafs Alumni will be signing autographs and fans will have the chance to win many prizes, including tickets to the Maple Leafs vs. Vancouver Canucks game that night.

The Toronto Marlies Dance Team, along with Duke the Dog will be at the tailgate party mingling with fans, signing autographs and handing out prizes. Free transportation will be provided from the tailgate party to Ricoh Coliseum beginning at 3 p.m.

The first 2,000 fans in attendance at the Marlies game on Saturday will receive a Don Cherry/Marlies cap, saluting the military. Fans are encouraged to wear red to the game to show their gratitude to the Canadian military men and women serving our country.

The Marlies continue their 11-game home stand tonight when they host the Hamilton Bulldogs - AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens - at 7:00 p.m. at Ricoh Coliseum on Pay Day Friday's presented by Ricoh. Tonight's game will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough. Fans can listen to all Toronto Marlies regular season games on THE FAN 590 or fan590.com.
