Penguins Send Cashman To Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have returned defenseman Reid Cashman to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) it was announced on Friday.

Cashman, 20, has appeared in 14 games with the Penguins this season, recording five points (2+3) and a plus-1 rating. Both of his goals were game-winning tallies (Feb. 3 at Philadelphia, Feb. 6 vs. San Antonio in overtime).

The native of Red Wing, MN, has appeared in 29 career AHL contests with the Penguins and Toronto Marlies, recording nine points (2+7) and 22 penalty minutes.

In 14 games with Wheeling this season, Cashman has posted 13 points (3+10) and 25 penalty minutes.
