Admirals Debut Third Jerseys

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals continued their twentieth anniversary season celebration with the debut of their throwback third jerseys tonight against the Binghamton Senators.
The jerseys are replicas of the original jerseys worn by the Admirals from 1989-90 to 1995-96. The primarily white jersey has the original Admirals anchor logo as its crest. The logo features a gold anchor surrounded by five gold stars enveloped by a blue circle with gold trim. The shoulders are blue with small gold anchors in white trim on either side. The sweater is accented by blue and gold striping on the arms and at the bottom of the sweater.
The Admirals will wear these jerseys for every Friday night home game through the end of the season. They will also wear them tomorrow night in celebration of the Admirals Alumni Game.
The Admirals will hold a hockey doubleheader tomorrow at Scope. At 3:00 p.m., the heroes of Admirals past will skate at Scope once again as the second Admirals Alumni Game takes place. Gates open at 2:00 p.m. The present-day Admirals will then renew acquaintances with the Binghamton Senators at 7:15 p.m. A ticket to the 7:15 p.m. game gets you into the Alumni Game, as well.
