- Fresh off a five-game road trip, the Griffins return to Van Andel Arena with a vengeance this weekend, playing three home games in three nights for just the second time in their history and the first time ever on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

- Tonight, the Griffins have their last shot of the regular season at first-place Manitoba, whom they trail by six points in the North Division race and whose 14-game road point streak (12-0-0-2) is one shy of the single-season AHL record. It's another Dollar Beers, Dollar Dogs night, with $1 hot dogs and $1 domestic drafts available from 6-8 p.m. while supplies last.

- On Saturday, legendary Detroit Tigers pitcher Jack Morris will meet fans and sign autographs from 6-7 p.m., thanks to Lake Michigan Credit Union.

- On Sunday, former Griffins head coach Greg Ireland and his Rampage squad will make their only Grand Rapids appearance of the season. As part of a concession special, fans can purchase either a 12-oz. Pepsi product or a pair of Cole's Bread Sticks (one Pizzastick, one Cheesestick) for just $1 at designated concession stands from 3-5 p.m., while supplies last. Also, fans who bring their skates can participate in the post-game open skate.

TICKETS: Tickets for all three games are available at The Zone at Van Andel Arena and all Star Tickets outlets, including Meijer stores. Call 222-4000 / 800-585-3737 or purchase online at griffinshockey.com.
