Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers posted a 2-1-0 record in the opening week of the 2005-06 season. Las Vegas notched their first road win in their first road game of the season, winning in Florida 4-0 last Friday night. The following night, the Everblades countered to defeat the Wranglers 4-1.
The Wranglers return to the Orleans Arena on Friday, November 4th to host the Phoenix Roadrunners at 7:05 pm. The Wranglers will hand out 5,000 magnetic schedules prior to the game.
Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Rita and its effects on the Texas Wildcatters professional hockey team, the Las Vegas Wranglers have made a change to their 2005-2006 schedule, substituting in a home game Nov. 4 in place of February 10, and donating $5 for every ticket sold for this game to hurricane relief efforts. For each $5 donation made by the Wranglers, the Nevada law firm of Kummer Kaempfer Bonner Renshaw & Ferrario (KKBR&F) will match the amount, donating up to $15,000 for relief efforts.
