Scott Basiuk scored his first goal of the season as the Bakersfield Condors outshot the Alaska Aces, but three first-period goals by Alaska proved to be the difference as the Condors dropped a 3-1 decision for their first loss of the year.
Saturday, October 29th

Kevin St. Jacques's tiebreaking goal and Andrew Ianiero's extra effort in overtime gave the Bakersfield Condors a 2-1 victory over the Alaska Aces in front of 5,151 fans at the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage Saturday night.

Chris Beckford-Tseu stopped all 23 Condor shots he faced in a 4-0 Bakersfield Condors loss to Alaska Sunday night.

The Condors (2-2-0) are in second place in the Pacific Division after four games. Fresno leads the division at 3-1-1.
Notes from the Nest
-Sean Venedam was credited with two assists in Saturday's overtime victory at Alaska.
-Kevin Kotyluk and Justin Quenneville have been placed on the 30-day Injured Reserve. Quenneville suffered a broken collarbone following a hit by Alaska D Zack Fitzgerald in Saturday night's win. Kotyluk injured his ankle in an altercation with Fitzgerald during Sunday night's match-up. Eric Neilson was activated from the 7-day IR in time for the Sunday night game.
-Davis Parley stopped a total of 47 shots in his two starts over the weekend.
-Alexandre Bolduc currently ranks third among ECHL rookies in penalty minutes (22)
-The Condors' penalty kill unit ranks 6th in the league working off 86.2 percent of opposing power plays.
