Halloween at Olive Drive Church; Sign Up for Charity Golf Tournament

Monday, October 31st : Colonel Claw'd and Account Manager Craig Turney will attend Family Fun Night at the Olive Drive Church. The event is a safe place for families to celebrate Halloween. Activities will include face painting, live music, games and plenty of candy. Admission is $1 and Olive Drive Church is located at 5500 Olive Drive. Call 393-8210 for more information.

Friday, November 4th : The first of six Condors Kids Club nights. Kids Club members present their official I.D. badge at the box office to receive free admission to the game. In addition, Condors Kids can pick-up their t-shirts at the Kids Club table on the main concourse. The remaining five Condors Kids nights are: Monday, December 26; Sunday, January 15; Saturday, February 18; Saturday, March 11; and Saturday, April 1. Parents can sign-up their kids online at www.condorskids.com, at the Bakersfield Condors office located at 1001 Truxtun Ave. or by calling 324-PUCK (7825).

Thursday, October 27th : Colonel Claw'd helped the students of Buena Vista Elementary celebrate Red Ribbon Week .

Friday, October 28th :Director of Community Relations Mikie Hayhurst attended Community Partners In Education (CPIE) Day. Sponsored by the Bakersfield City School District, the event showcased the influence that local businesses have on students. Following the breakfast program, Hayhurst toured Hort Elementary with Principal Rodney Wallace. For more information on CPIE Day, contact Sarah Baron at 631-4648.

Saturday, October 29th : Six members of Bakersfield Sports Entertainment took to the court as the "Condor Clutzes" for Saturday's charity dodgeball tournament. The Clutzes won two of the four games they played. The Norris Pimps won the tournament and will be at the Condors November 5th home game to drop the puck. The first 2,000 children, 12 & under, will receive a free Condors dodgeball that night courtesy of WB-TV 12 and McMillin Homes.
