
Blades shift around injured reserve list

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president & general manager Craig Brush, along with head coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward Grant McNeill has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve list, and forward Reggie Berg has been moved from the 7-day IR to the 30-day IR. As per club policy the injuries were not disclosed.
McNeill, 22, suffered an injury in the Everblades' second game of the season on October 29 vs. Las Vegas. The native of Vermillion, Alberta registered no points and five penalty minutes in his two games with the 'Blades. The 3rd round draft pick by the Panthers in 2001, McNeill spent the majority of the 2004-05 season with San Antonio where he picked up two assists and 231 penalty minutes in 40 games. McNeill also skated in 24 games with the Wildcatters adding 111 PIM and three assists. In 2003-04 McNeill made his professional and NHL debut with the Panthers playing in three games.
Berg, 28, was initially placed on the 7-day IR after suffering an injury in the Everblades opener vs. Las Vegas on October 28. The native of Anoka, Minnesota finished the game with three shots on goal and two penalty minutes.
The Everblades take on the Las Vegas Wranglers on Saturday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena!
