
Las Vegas Receives Goalie Kevin Lalande From Flames

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the Quad City Flames of the American Hockey League have assigned goalie Kevin Lalande. The Wranglers will host Stockton on Tuesday at 5:05 pm.
Kevin Lalande is in his first professional season after playing the last four seasons in Belleville with the Ontario Hockey League's Bulls. The Calgary Flames drafted the Kingston, ON native in the fifth round (#128 Overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Lalande has appeared in seven games this season with Quad City, posting a 2-3-0 record with a 3.34 goals against average and a .888 save percentage. In his five-game stint with Las Vegas in November, Lalande was nearly perfect with a 4-0-1 record. The left-handed catching netminder posted a 1.18 goals against average, a .950 save percentage and his first professional shutout with Las Vegas.
Prior to turning pro, Lalande posted a 67-46-12 record in Belleville. The 20-year old goalie had a 3.02 goals against average and a .916 save percentage in four years with the Bulls.
Las Vegas will return home to begin a six-game home stand starting with Stockton at 5:05 pm on New Year's Day at the Orleans Arena. The team will host the Fresno Falcons on January 4, 5, and 8 at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena.

The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
