Jake Moreland Activated Off Injured Reserve

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder has announced it has activated goaltender Jake Moreland off the seven-day injured reserve list, and has traded goaltender Mike Brown to the Fresno Falcons in exchange for financial considerations.

Moreland, 26, has logged one game with the Thunder in 2005-06, stopping eight shots in 24:47 of ice time in the Thunder's 4-3 loss to Fresno on October 22. The first signee in Thunder history, Moreland tallied a 20-8-5 record with the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies (ECHL) in 2004-05, along with a .932 save percentage and 2.18 goals-against average.

The Thunder has also announced it has placed right wing Dominic Soucy on the seven-day injured reserve list with a shoulder injury, and has placed center Casey Bartzen on the 30-day injured reserve list with a hand injury.

Stockton continues its season-launching 15-game road trip against the Fresno Falcons tonight at 7pm at Fresno's Save Mart Center. The game can be heard live on the internet at www.stocktonthunder.com.
