Dayton Bombers News Release

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Bombers of the ECHL announced on Friday the addition of forward Wes Rypien and emergency back-up goaltender Sean Broderick.

Rypien is on loan from National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets, and will jersey number 39 for the Bombers.

Broderick was signed as an emergency back-up goaltender after Gregg Naumenko signed a professional try-out contract with the American Hockey League's Portland Pirates this week.

The Dayton Bombers, proud "AA" affiliate of the National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets, are celebrating their 15th Anniversary this season. The Bombers host the division-rival Reading Royals tomorrow (Saturday) night, and the Cincinnati Ben-gals cheerleaders will be there too!
