Rainiers 6 (12-17), Isotopes 3 (16-13) - Cheney Stadium, Tacoma, Wash.

AT THE DISH: Pat Valaika connected on the only home run of the game for the Isotopes, a solo shot in the third inning. Valaika has now hit seven home runs in 10 Triple-A games ... The other two RBI came off the bats of Drew Weeks and Dom Nunez. Weeks recorded an RBI triple in the fourth inning while Nunez also contributed a run-scoring single in the frame ... Yonathan Daza finished the game 2-for-5, joining Valaika as the only two Isotopes with a multi-hit game.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Isotopes starter Peter Lambert held the Rainiers scoreless through the game's first four frames. However, the right-hander surrendered five runs in the fifth. In total, Lambert allowed seven hits, striking out four. He took the loss, falling to 1-2 on the season ... James Pazos recorded 1.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen ... DJ Johnson also contributed a scoreless inning while Matt Pierpont went 0.2 scoreless.

TOPES TIDBITS: Sam Hilliard stole his third base of the season, tying him with Daza for the team lead ... The Isotopes were 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position and left eight on base.
