Isotopes Pitchers Throw Two-Hitter in Loss to Rainiers

April 20, 2018 - Pitchers Jeff Hoffman and Chris Jensen combined for a two-hitter Thursday night, but the Isotopes (6-9) were held scoreless at the plate as the Tacoma Rainiers (8-6) defeated Albuquerque, 1-0, at Cheney Stadium. The Isotopes have now lost three straight games as they look to avoid their first sweep of the season on Friday. April 15, 2018 - The Isotopes (5-6) could not put their losing streak to an end on Sunday, falling to the Salt Lake Bees (7-4) 7-2 at Isotopes Park. Albuquerque has now lost four games in a row and have dropped to two games out of first place. The Bees jumped on Isotopes' starter David Holmberg, putting up six runs in the top of the first inning. April 15, 2018 - The Bees (6-4) handed the Isotopes (5-5) their third straight loss as Albuquerque fell to Salt Lake, 9-4, on Saturday evening at Isotopes Park. With the loss, the Isotopes have fallen out of first place for just the third time this season. Rockies right-hander Jeff Hoffman got the start for the Isotopes. April 13, 2018 - The Isotopes (5-4) scored five runs in the eighth inning Friday, but the late-game rally fell a run short as the Salt Lake Bees (5-4) defeated Albuquerque, 8-7, during a windy night at Isotopes Park. Albuquerque trailed 8-2 heading into the eighth inning before a pair of bases loaded walks and a three-run triple from Noel Cuevas cut the Bees' lead to one.
