AAA West Albuquerque Isotopes October 14, 2021 - In the 18th season of Albuquerque Isotopes baseball, fans were treated to several memorable on-and-off-the-field performances in 2021. Despite facing many state government-imposed restrictions in relation to capacity and operations, the Isotopes finished 14th out of 120 Minor League teams in average attendance, averaging 5,145 fans per game. AAA West Albuquerque Isotopes October 7, 2021 - Nine former Albuquerque Isotopes players, as well as three ex-Isotopes coaches, help make up rosters of teams participating in this year's MLB playoffs. The Atlanta Braves have two former Isotopes on their postseason squad in outfielder Joc Pederson and left-handed pitcher Tyler Matzek. Five 2021 Isotopes Selected to Compete in Arizona Fall League

AAA West Albuquerque Isotopes October 6, 2021 - The Colorado Rockies have selected five members of the 2021 Isotopes squad to compete in the Arizona Fall League. Pitchers Jake Bird, Jordan Sheffield and Reagan Todd as well as outfielder Ryan Vilade and catcher Willie MacIver will all suit up for the Salt River Rafters this fall. Following a June 8 promotion from Double-A Hartford, Bird became one of Albuquerque's most reliable arms out of the bullpen, going 5-1 with a 3.99 ERA in 29 appearances. AAA West Albuquerque Isotopes October 5, 2021 - Albuquerque Isotopes slugger Greg Bird was named the first baseman for the Triple-A West Post-Season All-Star team, as announced by Minor League Baseball today. The squad was voted on by league broadcasters, Minor League Baseball executives and select media members. Bird, 28, signed with the Rockies organization to a Minor League deal in February after experiencing injury-marred campaigns in 2019 and 2020.
