Goatheads Add Russian Forward Artem Pugachev

July 28, 2026 - The New Mexico Goatheads have added international experience to their inaugural roster with the signing of forward Artem Pugachev to an ECHL contract for the 2026-27 season. Pugachev joins New Mexico after spending the past four seasons playing professionally in Russia's VHL. The 2026-27 season will mark his first time playing in North America. Goatheads Sign Defenseman Brandon Chabrier

July 24, 2026 - The New Mexico Goatheads have added another piece to their inaugural blue line, signing defenseman Brandon Chabrier to an ECHL contract for the 2026-27 season. Chabrier joins the Goatheads after a standout four-year career at the University of Maine, where he appeared in 133 games and recorded 49 points (7 goals, 42 assists). Goatheads Add Defenseman Emmett Serensits to Inaugural Roster

July 21, 2026 - The New Mexico Goatheads have strengthened their blue line with the addition of defenseman Emmett Serensits for the 2026-27 ECHL season. Serensits arrives in New Mexico after spending the 2025-26 season with the Trois-Rivières Lions, where he appeared in 46 regular-season games. He also helped the Lions capture the 2025 Kelly Cup championship after joining the club late in the 2024-25 season, skating in 10 regular-season games and four playoff contests during the championship run. Goatheads Add Lynden Breen to Inaugural Roster

July 17, 2026 - The New Mexico Goatheads continue building their inaugural roster with the addition of forward Lynden Breen for the 2026-27 ECHL season. Breen arrives in New Mexico after spending the 2025-26 season with the South Carolina Stingrays, where he appeared in 59 regular-season games and recorded 25 points (4 goals, 21 assists).
