May 13, 2026 - (Albuquerque, NM) - Outpost Ice Arenas today announced the start of "Spirit of New Mexico" hand painted mural celebrating New Mexico by Albuquerque artist Johnpaul Gutierrez who begins outlining and painting today, Wednesday, May 13, 2026 with the community invited to watch the mural come to life during public skate sessions. The "Spirit of New Mexico" will span a total of 4,200 square feet across the east wall of the north arena making it among the largest indoor murals in the state. Ice Wolves' Season Ends as Rhinos Triumph in OT to Clinch Series

April 24, 2026 - The El Paso Rhinos defeated the New Mexico Ice Wolves 3-2 in overtime to win the South Division Semifinals series three games to none. All of the scoring during regulation came in the first half of the second period. Aidan Bergner scored first for the Rhinos and the Ice Wolves saw Sloan Farmer tie the game. Rhinos Take Control with 2-0 Series Lead

April 18, 2026 - The New Mexico Ice Wolves battled the El Paso Rhinos in game two of the best of five division semifinal series on Saturday, April 18. The Rhinos got on the board first with the only goal in the first period from Tommy Shore on the powerplay. The second period saw Jeremey Sprung tie the game early in the second period. The Rhinos would regain the lead when Raphael Laviolette found the back of the net on a breakaway. Rhinos Overcome Ice Wolves in OT Thriller

April 17, 2026 - The New Mexico Ice Wolves took on the El Paso Rhinos in game one of the best of five division semifinal series. The Rhinos jumped out to an early lead as Ethan Woolcott would score shorthanded. Sean Smith would respond tying the game with under seven minutes to go in the first period. Jacob Solano would score with three minutes remaining in the opening period for the 2-1 lead.
