June 11, 2025 - The NAHL New Mexico Ice Wolves have completed the 2025 NAHL Draft, adding eight new players to the 2025-26 lineup. AJ Schaaf With the 20th pick in the draft the Ice Wolves selected forward Aj Schaaf from the Camrose Kodiaks of the AJHL. Head Coach Kyle McKenzie had this to say about the first pick, "AJ checks all of the boxes. He is a fierce competitor and brings skill, size and speed up front which will help our hockey club. Ice Wolves Honor Jyoti the Wolf-Dog

May 8, 2025 - The Ice Wolves honor and remember Jyoti the wolf-dog from the Wanagi Wolf Fund and Rescue who recently passed away. Jyoti served as the Ice Wolves' honorary mascot over the years, helping spread the rescue's mission. In Sanskrit, Jyoti means "the bright flame" and she was nothing but that each time she came to games and helped cheer on the team and meet fans. Kyle McKenzie Named Head Coach and GM for the New Mexico Ice Wolves NAHL Team

May 1, 2025 - (Albuquerque, NM) - The New Mexico Ice Wolves© NAHL team today announced Kyle McKenzie was named the team's Head Coach and General Manager. He becomes the team's third coach and takes the reins from Kevin Hartzell as the 2024-2025 season ends. McKenzie is a familiar face to the NM Ice Wolves organization and many hockey families in New Mexico, having served as Equipment Manager and Player Development coordinator for the NAHL and NA3HL teams and as Assistant Coach of the NAHL team this past season. Ice Wolves Eliminated

April 24, 2025 - The Lone Star Brahmas defeated the New Mexico Ice Wolves 5-1 Thursday, April 24 to sweep them in the South Division Semifinals. Christian Venticinque scored his third goal of the postseason with 1:47 left in the first period for the one to zero lead. Jake Kasay would get his first postseason goal 5:59 into the second period to tie the game. In the third period the Brahmas would score 4:44 into the period for the 2-1 lead.
