
Ice Wolves' Season Ends as Rhinos Triumph in OT to Clinch Series

New Mexico Ice Wolves News Release
The El Paso Rhinos defeated the New Mexico Ice Wolves 3-2 in overtime to win the South Division Semifinals series three games to none. All of the scoring during regulation came in the first half of the second period. Aidan Bergner scored first for the Rhinos and the Ice Wolves saw Sloan Farmer tie the game. The Rhinos would score again this time it would be Ethan Woolcott, the Ice Wolves would respond with Sean Smith finding the back of the net. The game would head to overtime where the Rhinos would find themselves on the powerplay three times and the third time was the charm as Jacob Solano scored the series clinching goal and ended the Ice Wolves' season.
