Grrrowl partner with sold out charity event

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL, proud affiliates of the Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers have announced that all 19 Grrrowl players, in conjunction with Center Ice Charities, will be on hand on this Wednesday (12/1) for the 4th Annual Meyer Center's Holiday Luncheon at the Palmetto Expo Center in Greenville.

The luncheon, starting at 12:00pm is SOLD OUT with 600 ladies registered to be on hand to raise funds that help children with disabilities, receive intensive therapy and education. The Meyer Center's mission is to provide quality education and therapy services to preschool children with disabilities.

Grrrowl players will assist during the luncheon as servers and will participate in the fundraising efforts. To assist with the fundraising goal of $75,000, participants will also have the opportunity to buy 300+ items that are included in a silent auction.

Following a three-game road trip in Florida, the Grrrowl return home to play the Pee Dee Pride on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 before ending the week with road games in Gwinnett (12/3) and against the Stingrays in Charleston (12/4).
