Trenton Devils News Release
TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans went 2-1-2 over a five-game, six-night span and vaulted themselves into a tie with the Toledo Storm for fourth place in the North Division.
After a ten-day layoff, the Titans took the ice on Tuesday against the Long Beach Ice Dogs and fell in overtime 2-1. Trenton would reverse the script the following night versus the Johnstown Chiefs with a 2-1 overtime victory at Cambria County War Memorial. The Titans headed to Wheeling after the Thanksgiving holiday to take on the Nailers. Going to overtime for the third straight game, the Titans were defeated 3-2. Trenton returned home to due battle with the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies and fell 6-3 for just their second loss in regulation.
The Titans faced off against Ice Dogs for the second time in six days, and again went into the extra period. This time, however, Trenton came out on top 3-2.
The Trenton Titans will again have a full slate this weekend, as they begin with a home-and-home series versus the Reading Royals. The Titans will travel to the Sovereign Center on Friday night to face the Royals at 7:05pm. Reading will make the return trip to Sovereign Bank Arena on Saturday for a game time of 7:00pm.
