Ice Pilots Play Three Games This Week

Ice Pilots go 1-1-2 this past week. The Pensacola Ice Pilots went 1-1-2 this past week. The week started off with a 4-0 loss last Wednesday at South Carolina. Kirk Daubenspeck picked up the shutout win for South Carolina making 36 saves.

The Ice Pilots picked up a point with a 3-2 shootout loss at Augusta on Friday night. Nick Lindberg and Ryan Stokes each scored their first goal of the season for the Ice Pilots. Jim Shepherd and Jamie Johnson scored goals for Augusta. Frederic Cloutier picked up the shootout loss in goal for the Ice Pilots and Jason Saal was the winning goalie for Augusta. The Ice Pilots were outshot by Augusta 33-31.

The Ice Pilots won at home on Saturday night 4-2 vs. Greenville in front of the largest crowd of the season 6,029 fans. Dave Turon, Nick Lindberg, Tyler Beechey and! Dominic D'Amour scored the goals for the Ice Pilots. Krys Barch and Carl Mallete scored the goals for Greenville. Todd Ford was the winning goalie stopping 25 out of 27 shots.

The Ice Pilots lost 1-0 in a shootout vs. Las Vegas on Sunday in front of 4,444 fans. Frederic Cloutier picked up the shutout for the Ice Pilots and Marc Magliarditi picked up the shutout for the Wranglers. The Ice Pilots outshot Las Vegas 44-19.

The Ice Pilots begin the week with a record of 7-3-2 for 16 points which is good for a second place tie with Louisiana in the South Division.

Ice Pilots at Louisiana Tuesday: The Ice Pilots will play at Louisiana this Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots are 1-1 vs. Louisiana this season losing at home on November 5th 6-4 and winning in overtime on November 6th 3-2 at the Cajundome. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 25-36-5 vs. Louisiana in the regular season including a record of 17-12-4 at home and 8-24-1 on the road.

NEXT HOME GAMES THIS FR! IDAY AND SATURDAY: The Ice Pilots next two home games are this Friday vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. and this Saturday night vs. Gwinnett at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots have a record of 2-0 vs. Mississippi this season defeating the Sea Wolves 4-2 on October 23 and winning November 2 5-0 as both games were played in Biloxi. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 26-36-10 vs. Mississippi including a record of 14-16-5 at home and 12-20-5 on the road. The Ice Pilots are 1-0 vs. Gwinnett this season defeating the Gladiators 4-1 at home on November 12. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 2-1 vs. Gwinnett with a 1-0 record at home and 1-1 on the road.

Promotions for this Friday and Saturday Night: Friday night's game vs. Mississippi is Church Night. The first 2,500 fans will receive flashlights courtesy of Gulf Power. Saturday night's home game is D.A.R.E. Night and Big Buddies Night. Nemour's Children's Clinic will have a baby crawl contest during the intermission.

Leading Scorers: Ice Pilots Jordan Krestanovich leads the team in scoring wit! h 14 points and with 7 goals. Tyler Beechey and Cam Keith leads the team in assists with 8. Beechey is second in scoring on the team with 12 points. Corey Neilson and Cam Keith are currently third in scoring on the team with 10 points each.

Tentative Practice Schedule this week; The Ice Pilots have an optional skate on Monday at 10 a.m. and leave for Lafayette at Noon. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate Tuesday at Louisiana on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. and play at Louisiana at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will have Wednesday off. The Ice Pilots will practice Thursday at the civic center at 10 a.m. and have a pre skate Friday at 10 a.m. The Ice Pilots will play home Friday to Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate Saturday at 10 a.m. and play home to Gwinnett on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m.

Dodge Player of the Week: Forward Nick Lindberg has been nominated for the ECHL player of the week as he scored two goals this past week. Todd Ford has been nominated ! for the ECHL Goalie of the Week. Ford was the winning goalie for the I ce Pilots on Saturday night stopping 25 of 27 shots vs. Greenville. Ford has been named the Dodge/Ice Pilots Player of the Week.

Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots leading scorer award this season. During the season, we will be updating you with the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed Ice Pilots top scorer. At the end of the season, Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will present a trophy to the Ice Pilots top scorer. Fans will have an update on the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed top scorer in the weekly release and at www.icepilots.com. GEICO Three Stars of the Game: GEICO will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots Three Stars of the Game once again on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network this season and at every home game. Assigned Players from Toronto Maple Leafs: The Ice Pilots currently have six players on the roster assigned from Toronto. They are goalie Todd Ford, defenseman Dave Turon, defenseman Dominic D'Amour, center Chris St. Jacques, center Kris Newbury and left wing Cam Keith. Chris St. Jacques and Kris Newbury started the week recalled to St. John's of the AHL.

Kerr's Kids: For the second season in a row the Ice Pilots are introducing "Kerr's Kids." Thanks to Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr and SMG (Pensacola Civic Center), the Ice Pilots would like to invite organizations devoted to helping children who are terminally ill or have special limitations to be our guest during the 2004-05 regular season for a great night of hockey. Each organization is encouraged to pick 3-4 dates throughout the regular season. The Ice Pilots will provide free admission fo! r 12 people (We would like to have at least 6 or more children, escorts are required for the children and are counted as part of the 12). SMG will provide a hot dog and soda for each guest. If accessible seating is needed the Ice Pilots must be notified at least 2 days in advance and seating will be arranged. All members must stay in assigned seats. Please provide a list of attendee's 24 hours prior to game day. Listen to games on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network with the new Ice Pilots Flagship radio home AM 1620: Fans can listen to Ice Pilots games on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network. The network includes new flagship radio station AM 1620, Cox Communications and at icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. The game will also be taped delayed by Leafs TV. The pre game show on Tuesday night at Louisiana ! and the home games on Friday and Saturday vs. Mississippi and Gwinnett begin at 6:50 p.m. All three games will be available on a pay per view webcast at www.icepilots.com.

Ice Pilots Offer Pay-Per-View Webcasts with B2 Networks this season. The Ice Pilots home games and several road games will be available for viewing on the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. The Ice Pilots have partnered with B2 Networks based in Las Vegas, Nevada on the pay-per-view broadcast.

Fans will be able to click on the "Watch the Game Live" icon at the Ice Pilots website to view and listen to the game. The broadcast is available to fans with a high speed DSL or Cable modem internet connection and the charge is $6 per game. At this time a total of 58 of the Ice Pilots 72 regular season games will be available for viewing at www.icepilots.com. The Ice Pilots games this Tuesday, Friday and Saturday will be available for pay per view webcast at www.icepilots.com.

Ice Pilots Radio Show at the Gutter Lounge again this season: The Ice Pilots Radio show! will once again be broadcasted from the Gutter Lounge at Phoenix Crossing inside the new Liberty Lanes this year located at 3200 North Palafox Street. The show is broadcasted on the Ice Pilots hockey network from 6 p.m. 7 p.m. Fans can hear the radio show on the Ice Pilots new flagship radio station AM 1620 and on the internet at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. Fans can meet the players, head coach Dave Farrish and members of the Ice Pilots office staff all season long. The Ice Pilots are traveling today to Louisiana and their will be no radio show tonight as the show will be back at the Gutter Lounge next Monday, December 6th as Frederic Cloutier and Dominic D'Amour will be the player guests.
