Idaho Steelheads News Release


Idaho finished up last week with a 1-1-1 record against the Alaska Aces at the Bank of America Centre. Overall, the team is currently tied with Alaska for second place in the National Conference, West Division in points with 21, one point behind the first place Bakersfield Condors. Rookie goaltender Frank Doyle recorded back-to-back shutouts, including his first professional shutout in Wednesday night's contest (W2-0) followed by a second on Saturday night (T0-1 shootout).

Loss - Idaho 3 vs Alaska 4
Tie - Idaho 0 vs Alaska 1 (shootout)

TEAM NOTES:

Idaho is ranked fifth overall in the league with a 10-5-1 record.... Idaho is second overall in penalty-killing allowing only 6 goals in 61 tries (90.2%).

UP NEXT:

Idaho travels to San Diego for their first visit this season. They'll play a three-game series December 3rd, 4th and 5th before returning home to the Bank of America Centre to face Las Vegas on December 10th and 11th.
