
Hershey Calls Up Royals Centerman

Reading, PA â The Reading Royals, affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and AHL's Manchester Monarchs, have announced that center Graig Mischler has been loaned to the Hershey Bears (AHL).
Mischler, 26, has appeared in all fourteen games with the Royals this season and is in the midst of a team and league leading seven-game point streak (3g, 6a). He currently ranks second on the club in scoring with three goals and team-leading eight assists for 11 points. His 31 penalty minutes are second on the Royals squad. The Holbrook, New York native led the Royals in scoring last season with 13 goals and 57 points. He also appeared in 12 games in the post season and ranked second on the team in goals and points tallying five goals and seven assists along with six penalty minutes. Mischler's 19 multiple-point efforts were a high for the club last season. The fourth-year-pro began his professional career in the American Hockey League with the Cleveland Barons (2001-03). In two seasons, Mischler appeared in 132 games and tallied 22 goals and 26 assists for 48 points with 135 penalty minutes.
The Reading Royals are entering their fourth season in Reading, Pennsylvania after relocating from Columbus, Ohio. The Royals enjoyed their first Kelly Cup playoff appearance last season, claiming the Northern Division Title and were one win away from qualifying for the Kelly Cup Finals. The Royals and the City of Reading are proud to be hosting the 13th annual ECHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition presented by Coors Light on January 25 and 26.
Reading returns to the ice this weekend two a pair of games against the Trenton Titans. Friday, Reading hosts Trenton at 7:05 p.m. in the Sovereign Center. Fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to the game for the Annual Teddy Bear Toss after the Royals first goal! Plus, the first 3,000 fans through the gate receive a t-shirt courtesy of Chevrolet â An American Revolution. The Titans and Royals meet in Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m.
