In a Nutshell
Utah (19-11-2) finished the week 3-2, with all games played versus division rivals above them in the standings. Utah returns home for seven straight E-Center games January 11th.

The Kinasewich File
Ryan Kinasewich caught fire during the month of December for Utah.
He finished the month with ten goals, fourteen assists, and a +6.
He had two game-winning goals in December.
He had two hat tricks and two four-point games.
He had five power-play goals, including 3 in Utah's 6-5 OT win over Las Vegas Friday.
He has ten multi-point games in 21 games played with Utah this season.

Hey Now You're An All-Star
Saturday, Utah rookie forward Matt Craig and defenseman James Laux were named ECHL All-Stars. Craig currently leads Utah with 20 goals, and also has 15 assists in 32 games. He has four game-winning goals and nine multi-point games (including five three-point nights.) Despite being on IR since late November, Laux has six goals and 12 assists for Utah in 16 games. At the time of his injury, he had 13 power-play points and was an integral part of Utah's nine-game November winning streak.

The Deal On Dumont
Louis Dumont, the ECHL's all-time leader in assists and scoring, is one point away from 850 career ECHL points. The Grizzlies are also 8-0 when their team captain scores a goal.

L'eggo My Ehgo
Barret Ehgoetz returned from 7-Day IR, December 27th. January 1st, he scored his seventh goal of the season. Six of his seven goals have been scored at the E-Center.

Doing It With Consistency
The Grizzlies finished the month of December 8-3-2. That is the second month in a row that Jason Christie's boys have finished a month with eight wins. They finished November 8-4.

Homegrown Help
Just to keep tabs on West Valley City native D.J. Jelitto: He had one goal and one assist Sunday versus Las Vegas. He finished the week with two goals and two assists. In total, the 21-year-old has four goals and four assists in 18 games played this season.

I'm Runnin' Out Of Hats Here
The Grizzlies currently have three hat tricks on the season. All have taken place on the road; all have resulted in Utah victories.

Jeff Miles - December 3rd @ Victoria.

Shooting Gallery
Last Tuesday night versus Idaho, team captain Louis Dumont tied an ECHL season-high with 11 shots on net. Saturday, Ryan Kinasewich matched that with 11 shots of his own. The team record is 12, set by Chris Taylor April 1, 1997 versus Fort Wayne in the IHL. Taylor currently plays for Rochester of the AHL.
