Ford loaned to Providence

TRENTON, NJ (January 3, 2006) - The Trenton Titans announced on Tuesday that defenseman Scott Ford has been loaned to the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Ford, 25, heads to the AHL for third time this season. The rookie defenseman registered an assist in four games with the Baby Bruins earlier this year and had also appeared in two games for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL). Ford has five points (1g, 4a) in 21 games for the Titans and is the team leader with a +6 plus/minus rating.

The Titans host the Reading Royals on Saturday, January 7 at 7:00pm and the Wheeling Nailers on Sunday, January 8 at 3:00pm.
