Rowe Gets The Call

Johnstown, PA (January 3, 2006) - After potting a hat trick in front of a sell-out home crowd, Saturday against Columbia, Randy Rowe has been recalled by the Springfield Falcons of the AHL.

The 25 year old Rowe, from Burford, Ontario, has 18 points in 23 games this season, placing him 2nd on the team in scoring. He is tied with Justin Kelly, who is also currently in Springfield, for the Chiefs team lead in goals, with 11. Rowe's hat trick on Saturday was the first of the season for the Chiefs.

Rowe was called to Springfield last month, but did not play a game. In 17 career AHL games, all with the St. Johns Maple Leafs, Rowe has three goals and four assists. Rowe will be with the Falcons when they take on the Albany River Rats on Wednesday.
