Ice Pilots Acquire Goalie David Cann from Toledo

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that goalie David Cann has been acquired from the Toledo Storm for financial considerations and is expected to join the team tomorrow.

Cann, who stands 6'2" and weighs 200 pounds, has played in 13 games for the Toledo Storm this season posting a record of 5-7 with a 3.19 goals against average and .896 save percentage.

Cann played in 41 games for the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL last season posting a record of 11-19-7 with a 3.39 goals against average and .896 save percentage. He played his college hockey at Colgate University from 2000-2004 appearing in 10 games during the 2003-2004 season posting a record of 4-3-1 with a 2.57 goals against average and .898 save percentage. Cann is 24 years old from Brampton, Ontario and catches right.

The Ice Pilots will host the Florida Everblades tonight at the Pensacola Civic Center at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will also host the Gwinnett Gladiators on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. Every fan attending the Ice Pilots home game on Friday night will receive a team photo.
