Dayton Bombers News Release
WHAT'S NEW:
- Bombers ring in the New Year 1-0! After an exciting win against the Columbia Inferno 8-3 Sunday at the Nutter Center, the Dayton Bombers begin 2006 with a win. The game would not only see high scoring, but hard hits, fast play, fights, and ejected Columbia coaches. In addition, several Bombers players with lower point totals picked up points in the winning effort.
- ALL-STAR!! Bombers defenseman Mark Flood was honored with a selection into the ECHL ALL-STAR roster for the American Conference. Unfortunately, an injury sustained last Monday night in Wheeling will force Flood to miss the festivities. Coming into the season as a rookie defenseman, Flood has posted 6 goals and 6 assists for a total of 12 points after 20 games.
- Dayton Bombers Coaches Show! The Dayton Bombers Coaches show has moved nights, this week only, to Wednesday, January 4, from 6-7pm. Join Head Coach Don MacAdam and JT Szabo for an hour of the latest in Bombers Hockey. This week's guests include Former Bombers All-Star, and head Coach Jamie Ling, and former Bombers star and current Assistant Coach Collin Miller. Topics will include the upcoming Dayton Gems-Detroit Red Wings Alumni Game later in January.
