Grizzlies Drop Finale In Idaho

Boise, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads defeated the Utah Grizzlies 4-1 Saturday night in Boise as Utah leaves the Gem State 1-1-0-1 capping off three games in four nights.

Idaho took control of the first period with 9:27 of power-play time building a 3-0 lead and outshooting Utah 19-3 in the opening 20 minutes.

The Grizzlies battled back to make the game 3-1 on a 5-on-3 power-play goal 8:16 into the second from Andy Sertich. Evan Kotsopoulos extended his scoring streak to five with an assist as he won the face-off and got the puck to Sertich.

Idaho added another power-play goal with Ben Nelson scoring 3:49 into the third to make the score 4-1 and that would cap the scoring.

Utah returns home Tuesday hosting Idaho and Friday and Saturday, welcoming in Stockton. All Utah home games start at 7:05 p.m.
