
Leading Scorer Urquhart Recalled to Springfield

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, announced veteran center Cory Urquhart (URK-hart) has been recalled from the Thunder to Springfield.
Urquhart leads the Thunder in scoring with 19 points (7g-12a) in 18 games, additionally amassing 10 penalty minutes this season. The 6-foot-3, 196-pound forward has amassed 225 points (115g-110a) in 282 career games with Stockton, Cincinnati and Long Beach of the ECHL, Hamilton of the AHL and Arizona of the Central Hockey League.
Urquhart, the ninth Thunder player to earn a call-up to the AHL this year, has collected 27 points (10g-17a) with 28 penalty minutes in 54 career American Hockey League games.
The Thunder return to play tonight with a 7:30 p.m. rematch against the Reign from Stockton Arena. The game is available for viewing and listening exclusively on the internet for a $7 charge at http://www.stocktonthunder.com/ (courtesy of B2 Networks).
