Matt McKnight opened the scoring on the power play with his first professional goal at 5:27 of the first period, with assists going to Matt Stephenson and Garett Bembridge. At 17:36, Kris Sparre scored an unassisted goal, his fifth of the season, as he capitalized on a Utah turnover to make it 2-0.
