Florida Everblades (14-3-2) at Reading Royals (5-16-1) 7:05 p.m. ET
- Everblades are 6-1-1 on their current nine-game road trip, including a 4-0 win at Reading on Nov. 28.
- Reading's Danny Taylor leads the league with 1,084 minutes and 539 saves.
- Florida's Kevin Baker has an eight-game point streak (9g-7a).
- David Nimmo scored a goal and Peder Skinner had two assists in their first game with the Royals on Friday.

Charlotte Checkers (8-9-2) at South Carolina Stingrays (12-5-2) 7:30 p.m. ET
- Michael Dubuc leads the Stingrays against Charlotte with four goals and seven points in five games.
- Checkers are 5-4-1 on the road.
- South Carolina defenseman Brad Farynuk has a three-game goal streak (3g) and a three-game point streak (3g-1a).
- Charlotte's Lee Falardeau has three points in three games (1g-2a).

Wheeling Nailers (12-2-5) at Dayton Bombers (12-7-3) 7:30 p.m. ET
- Wheeling became the first team in ECHL history to reach 700 wins with a 5-2 win at Dayton on Friday.
- Bomber rookie Nino Musitelli has eight points (1g-7a) in his last eight games.
- Wheeling's Tommy Goebel leads ECHL rookies with 27 points and is tied for league lead with 14 assists.
- Dayton's Justin Bowers is tied for third among league rookies with 14 assists and 22 points.

Johnstown Chiefs (16-5-1) at Cincinnati Cyclones (10-8-3) 7:30 p.m. ET
- Chiefs have won their last three road games to improve to 8-2-0 on the road.
- Cyclones' Olivier Latendresse leads the league with 17 goals and is tied for second with 28 points.
- Johnstown rookie Jon Landry leads ECHL defensemen with four power-play goals.
- Cincinnati is third in the league in scoring with 3.81 goals per game.

Trenton Devils (6-11-3) at Elmira Jackals (10-7-2) 7:35 p.m. ET
- Jackals are 1-0-0 at home and 3-0-0 overall in season series to improve to 10-4-1 all-time against Trenton.
- Eric Castonguay leads the Devils against Elmira with four points and is tied for the team lead with three assists.
- Elmira's Steve Yetman is tied for the league lead with four game-winning goals.
- Trenton's Charlie Effinger is 2-0-0 with a shootout win in his last two starts.

Gwinnett Gladiators (8-6-4) at Mississippi Sea Wolves (10-8-2) 7 p.m. CT
- Mississippi's Ryan Munce is tied for the league lead with three shootout wins.
- Gwinnett's Brad Schell has a three-game goal streak (3g) and a three-game point streak (3g-4a).
- Sea Wolves are 5-3-2 in one-goal games including 3-0 in shootouts and 2-2 in overtime.
- Gladiators' Jordan Fox has a three-game point streak (2g-5a) and a three-game assist streak (5a).

Utah Grizzlies (8-9-2) at Idaho Steelheads (11-8-2) 7:10 p.m. MT
- Grizzlies are 2-0-1 in season series against Idaho following Friday's 5-3 win.
- Idaho rookie Matt McKnight had career-high two assists and two points on Friday.
- Tim Verbeek leads the Grizzlies against Idaho with three goals and four points.
- Steelheads are 7-2-2 when scoring first.

Ontario Reign (11-8-2) at Stockton Thunder (8-9-3) 7:30 p.m. PT

- Stockton's Adam Huxley tied career highs with two goals and two points in Friday's 3-2 win at Ontario.
- Jon Rheault leads the Reign against Stockton with five points (2g-3a).
- Stockton rookie Bryan Pitton is 2-0-0 with a save percentage of .925 in his last two starts.
- Ontario defenseman PJ Atherton has three points (1g-2a) in his last two games.

Victoria Salmon Kings (11-9-1) at Fresno Falcons (14-6-1) 7:35 p.m. PT
- Fresno is third in the league with a goals-against average of 2.38.
- Victoria rookie Dan Gendur has two assists in his last two games and is tied for the team lead with 13 assists.
- Falcons' Igor Gongalsky has three points (0g-3a) in his last two games including two assists on Friday.
- Salmon Kings' Dylan Yeo is second among league defensemen with six goals and tied for second with 16 points.

Bakersfield Condors (8-9-3) at Alaska Aces (13-7-1) 7:15 p.m. AT
- Aces are 10-0-0 when leading after two periods.
- Bakersfield's Chad Painchaud has a three-game point streak (2g-4a) and a three-game assist streak (4a).
- Alaska's Matt Shasby leads ECHL defensemen with 20 points and 15 assists in 21 games.
- Condors' Ryan Nie has won his last two starts and is 2-0-1 with a save percentage of .941 in his last three games.

- The ECHL celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08 and is the third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League.
- ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league with 22 teams in 16 states and British Columbia in 2008-09.

- Former ECHL coaches working as head coaches in the NHL are Bruce Boudreau of the Washington Capitals and Scott Gordon of the New York Islanders. Boudreau, who coached Mississippi for three seasons winning the Kelly Cup championship in 1999, was named NHL Coach of the Year in 2007-08 becoming the first former ECHL coach to receive the award. Peter Laviolette, who began his coaching career with the Wheeling Nailers, led Carolina Hurricanes to the Stanley Cup in 2006.
- There are 18 assistant coaches in the NHL who were players or coaches in the ECHL.
- There are 18 former ECHL officials scheduled to work as part of the NHL officiating team in 2008-09 with referees David Banfield, Chris Ciamaga, Ghislain Hebert, Marc Joannette, Mike Leggo, Wes McCauley, Dean Morton, Dan O'Rourke, Brian Pochmara, Kevin Pollock, Kyle Rehman, Chris Rooney, Justin St. Pierre and Ian Walsh and linesmen Steve Barton, Brian Mach, Tim Nowak and Jay Sharrers. Barton, Joannette, Leggo, McCauley, Nowak, Pollock, Rooney and Sharrers all worked the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
- ECHL has affiliations with 23 of the 29 teams in the American Hockey League and for the past 19 years there has been an ECHL player on the Calder Cup Champion.
- In the last six seasons the ECHL has had more call-ups to the AHL than all other professional leagues combined with over 2,000 call-ups involving more than 1,000 players since 2002-03.
