'Gades Play Four Games in Five Nights this Week

The Richmond Renegades are 25-26-3 after going 0-2 last week. The ‘Gades are in seventh place in the Northeast Division, nine points behind the fourth place Trenton Titans. Richmond closes a four game road trip Wednesday at Atlantic City. The ‘Gades return home Friday, February 21 vs. Pee Dee to open a five game homestand.

Tuesday, February 18 @ Reading 7 PM

GAME NOTES: The seventh of eight meetings and the fourth and final 'Gades visit to Reading this season. Richmond is 3-3 vs. the Royals, 1-2 at Reading. Brad Church has 11 points vs. the Royals. Brian McCullough has 14 points vs. the 'Gades. Each club has 25 goals in the season series.

Wednesday, February 19 @ Atlantic City 7 PM

GAME NOTES: The seventh of eight meetings, and the 'Gades fourth and final visit to Atlantic City this season. Richmond is 2-4 vs. the Bullies, 0-3 at Atlantic City. Both 'Gades wins came in OT. Lars Pettersen has five points vs. the Bullies. Kevin Colley has nine points vs. the 'Gades.

Friday, February 21 vs. Pee Dee 7:35 PM

GAME NOTES: The second of three meetings and the Pride's only visit to Richmond this season. The Pride beat the 'Gades 5-2 at Pee Dee in November. Greg Schmidt had a goal and three assists. Milt Mastad and Lars Pettersen scored for Richmond. Pride was 0-1 at Richmond last season.

Saturday, February 22 vs. Trenton 7:35 PM

GAME NOTES: The sixth of eight meetings and the Titans fourth and final visit to Richmond this season. Richmond is 3-2 vs. the Titans, 2-1 here. Richmond has won three straight vs. Trenton. Lars Pettersen has seven points vs. the Titans. Adam Edinger has six vs. the 'Gades.

Thursday, February 13 @ Greensboro LOSS 4-3

GAME NOTES: The ‘Gades fell behind 2-0 in the first period. Richmond rallied back to score three goals in 3:15 in the third period. The 'Gades lead was short lived. The Generals quickly scored two goals to win. Sam Ftorek scored twice for the Generals. Brad Church and David Brosseau had a goal and assist.

Friday, February 14 @ Charlotte LOSS 8-0

GAME NOTES: The ‘Gades suffered their worst loss of the season. Charlotte blew the game open with four second period goals. Scott Meyer stopped all 24 'Gades shots. Konrad McKay had two goals and a "Gordie Howe" hat trick (goal, assist, and fight). Charlotte equaled a season high for goals in a game.

GADES NOTES: Richmond's game Monday at Atlantic City has been postponed to Wednesday. The ‘Gades are 0-2 on a four game road trip. Richmond has won their last two at home and opens a five game homestand Friday. The 'Gades have lost six in a row on the road and are winless in their last eight road games. Richmond's last road win was 12/28 at Wheeling. The 'Gades are in a stretch of six straight games vs. Northeast Division opponents. Josh Harrold returned from a three game call-up to Philadelphia of the AHL (0-1-1, 2 PIM). Six Renegades have earned AHL call-ups this season. Garret Stroshein joined the 'Gades from Portland of the AHL. Brad Church's seven game scoring streak, Lars Pettersen's four game scoring streak, and David Brosseau's three game scoring streak ended Friday. Marc Magliarditi has started six straight games in net. The 'Gades have played 19 straight games without an overtime. The 'Gades fired a season high 45 shots on goal in Wednesday's loss at Greensboro. Richmond is 0-3-1 in their last four games with 40+ shots on goal. Tyler Palmer and Jonathan St. Louis remain on 7-Day IR. Richmond is 10 for their last 27 on the power play. The 'Gades are tied for third in the league in shorthanded goals (13). They are seventh in fewest shots allowed per game (30.1). Richmond is the least penalized club in the ECHL. Magliarditi is fifth in minutes played. Jon Zion is 14th in rookie scoring and seventh in points by a defenseman. Leon Hayward leads the league's rookies in shorthanded goals.
