Upcoming week of February 17th - February 23rd:
Tuesday, February 18th - Condors players Jason Ralph and Jonas Lennartsson will be visiting Bakersfield Carden School to take part in their Community Assembly from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm. Ralph and Lennartsson will be addressing the entire school and giving them a little background on themselves and hockey, and reminding the students about drug awareness and the importance of staying in school. Bakersfield Carden School is located at 714 Columbus Avenue.
Wednesday, February 19th - Condors players Paul Rosebush and Kevin St. Pierre will be heading to Roosevelt School in Taft to take part in their Celebrity Reading Day from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm. Rosebush and St. Pierre will be visiting classrooms reading to students. Roosevelt School is located at 811 N. Sixth Street in Taft.
Wednesday, February 19th - Condors will be visiting Our Lady of Guadaloupe School to take part in their Reading Day. Guy Dupuis and Beau Fritz will be reading to students in classrooms from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm. Our Lady of Guadaloupe School is located at 609 East California Avenue.
Thursday, February 20th - Condors University presents "Ladies Night, Where it all takes place". This is your opportunity to see where everything happens before, during, and after the game. Ladies you will be given a tour of the locker room and training facility, as well as get a look at the ice before trying your hands (feet) at skating. Your favorite Condors players will also help you with skating basics, passing the puck, as well as the art of taking a shot. This will also be their chance to try on a full set of equipment. Ladies get all this plus an executive level ticket to the Sunday, March 9th game against the Fresno Falcons for just $45.00. Call the Condors at 324-PUCK (7825) to sign-up for the program.
Thursday, February 20th - Join the "Voice of the Condors", Kevin Bartl, as he hosts the Condors Coach's Show on KGEO AM 1230 live from the Holiday Inn Select's Q Street Bistro from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Head Coach Paul Kelly and featured Condors guests will be the on the show. The Holiday Inn Select is located at 801 Truxtun, on the corner of Q Street and Truxtun.
Thursday, February 20th - Condors players Kevin St. Pierre and Shawn Byram will visit Houchin Blood Bank to promote KUZZ 107.9 Blood Drive Night from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Fans who donated one pint of blood to the Houchin Blood Bank will receive complimentary terrace admission to the Tuesday, March 4th game. Houchin Blood Bank is located at 5901 Truxtun Avenue.
Friday, February 21st - The Condors host the Long Beach Ice Dogs, as Time Warner Cable and 101.5 KGFM present SpongeBob Squarepants and Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius. Enjoy nautical non-sense with SpongeBob Squarepants and be amazed by the inventions of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius. Also, Time Warner Cable, The Bakersfield Californian, and John's Incredible Pizza will host a Colonel Claw'd's Kids Club Night. All Club members receive free terrace admission to the game. Time Warner will also be hosting Family Night. All Time Warner Cable subscribers can receive $5.00 terrace admission per person by presenting the coupon available in their cable bill. Single-game tickets are available through the Centennial Garden Box Office, open 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday. Saturday, February 22nd - Join KGET-TV 17, Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield and Subway for Metal Lunch Pail Giveaway as the Condors host the second of a two-game set against the Long Beach Ice Dogs. The first 2,000 children, 12 and under, will receive a Condors metal lunch pail. The night is also SBC Yellow Pages Recycling Night. Receive $2.00 off admission by bringing your old SBC directory to be recycled. Single-game tickets are available through the Centennial Garden Box Office, open 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday.
