Greensboro Generals News Release
Greensboro, NC â The Greensboro Generals of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) have announced they will be holding a press conference on Wednesday at noon in the Carlyle Club at the Greensboro Coliseum. Food and drink will be provided for all attending members of the media beginning at noon, with the conference starting at approximately 12:30 p.m. Generals' fans are also invited to attend the press conference.
The reason for the press conference is to discuss in detail the events the Generals have prepared for their "Pack the House Night" on Friday, February 28 at 7:30 p.m. against the Columbia Inferno. A few of the events have already been revealed. The Generals will "Turn Back the Clock" that night by wearing Carolina Monarchs jerseys, which will be auctioned off live after the game to the fans. Shawn Michaels of WWE wrestling fame will be on hand to sign autographs, and a concession price of $2.50 will be available for a hot dog and a Monarchs sport bottle drink. Also, group tickets for "Pack the House Night" are only $6.00 each if you buy ten or more tickets.
Prior to Wednesday's press conference, the Generals play their next game tomorrow night against the Augusta Lynx at 7:00 at the Coliseum. That game will mark the debut of newcomers Bryan Richardson and Mike Oliveira, who were acquired in a trade with the Baton Rouge Kingfish on Saturday. Ticket prices for all home games range from $10.00 - $17.00, with tickets as low as $8.00 for students and seniors.
