FC Dallas Loans Callum Montgomery to San Antonio FC

Frisco, Texas - FC Dallas has loaned defender Callum Montgomery to USL Championship team San Antonio FC for the 2020 season. FC Dallas has the right to recall Montgomery at any point this season.

Montgomery, 22, made his professional debut on March 30 for 2019 USL League One title-winners, North Texas Soccer Club. He started in 22 matches for North Texas SC, scoring three goals in 1,958 minutes played. Montgomery made his FC Dallas debut in a friendly against Liga MX's Club Tijuana on July 7.

Montgomery was selected 4th overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft on January 11. He played four seasons at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte where he started 70 matches and scored 11 goals and added seven assists for Charlotte. He was named to the United Soccer Coaches' First Team All-American and Conference USA Defender of the Year in 2018.
