January 12, 2026 - FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas today announced the hiring of Mark Briggs as first team assistant coach and Melissa Harris as first team nutritionist. Briggs joins the staff after serving as head coach of USL Championship side Birmingham Legion FC during the 2025 season. Harris joins FC Dallas from Baylor University, where she served as assistant director of performance nutrition, overseeing more than 150 student-athletes. FC Dallas Announces 2026 Preseason Schedule

January 7, 2026 - FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas unveiled its 2026 preseason schedule today. In addition to training at Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, the team will hold a training camp at Pine Cliffs Resort in Algarve, Portugal, from Jan. 18-31. Players report for entrance physicals, medical exams and testing on Saturday, Jan. 10. Training at Toyota Soccer Center runs from Jan. 12-16. FC Dallas Signs Jaidyn Contreras, Kaka Scabin, Slade Starnes and Caleb Swann to Homegrown Deals

January 5, 2026 - FRISCO, Texas - On its annual Homegrown Day, FC Dallas announced the signings of FC Dallas Academy alums Jaidyn Contreras, Kaka Scabin, Slade Starnes and Caleb Swann to Homegrown contracts. With these additions, Dallas extends its league-leading total to 48 Homegrown signings. Contreras joined the FC Dallas Academy in 2022 after relocating to Frisco from the Houston area. FC Dallas Signs Swedish International Herman Johansson from Mjällby AIF

December 30, 2025 - FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas has acquired Swedish international Herman Johansson via transfer from Mjällby AIF (MAIF). He signed a contract through 2028-29 with a club option for 2029-2030. Johansson will occupy an international roster slot, pending receipt of his P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate.
