LIKE MONEY IN THE (U.S.) BANK: The Cyclones have a club record eleven game unbeaten streak (9-0-2) at U.S. Bank Arena this season. It is the longest stretch by any team in the ECHL this season. Stockton held the season best mark with ten games (8-0-2) from Oct. 20 through Dec. 3, prior to Cincinnati's topping of the mark in the game on Saturday. Last season, Gwinnett went 16 games (15-0-1) without a loss from Jan. 14 through March 15.

CEDRICK THE SENSATIONAL: Goaltender Cedrick Desjardins has strung together a three game winning streak, after picking up the wins on Friday and Sunday. Desjardins, who will represent the Cyclones at the ECHL All-Star Game next Wednesday (Jan. 17) at Boise, ID, is 3-0 during that stretch with a 1.95 goals against average and a .929 save percentage. Desjardins has won his last eight starts at U.S. Bank Arena, with a 1.24 goals against average and a .956 save percentage.

NATURAL BORN KILLERS: The Cyclones lead the ECHL in penalty killing at 87.9 percent. Cincinnati has killed off the last 25 shorthanded situations without allowing a goal. After surrendering a pair of power play goals int he first six minutes of the game at Dayton on Dec. 28, the squad has not give one up since (241 minutes, 57 seconds).

LEADERS OF THE PACK: The Cyclones begin the week as the leaders of the North Division. Cincinnati moved into a share of the top spot on Dec. 23 and has not been moved from first place since.

INS AND OUTS: The Cyclones had two roster moves last week. Goaltender Dov Grumet-Morris was re-assigned to the Cyclones by the Portland Pirates (AHL), after Anaheim (NHL) had goaltenders get healthy. Grumet-Morris went 1-1-2 in the AHL with a 1.78 goals against average. Mathieu Aubin was recalled on Saturday (Jan. 6) by the Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL) and played in Saturday's game against Rochester.

FIVE OVER: The Cyclones have a 17-12-3 record, five games above .500 for the first time this season. The last time Cincinnati was as many games over the break even point was at the end of the 2002-03 season, when the club finished the season seven games ahead (36-29-7). The 2002-03 club went to the American Conference playoff finals before losing to eventual Kelly Cup champion Atlantic City.

IN THE COMMUNITY: Next Monday (Jan. 15), several Cyclones players will be spending time at Game Works at Newport on the Levee with members of the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative. Next Wednesday (Jan. 17), several of the players will be at Taft Elementary, helping to educate students in the game of hockey in preparation of their visit for the 'Education In Hockey Day' event on Tuesday, March 27.

DAOUST CONTINUES PRODUCTION: Forward Jean-Michel Daoust has points in seven of the last eight games, collecting seven goals and six assists for 13 points. Daoust registered the game winning goal in the shootout in the 4-3 win at Dayton on Dec. 28 and netted the decider in the win at Toledo on Jan. 7. Jean-Michel has been a part of 13 of the last 29 goals scored by the team (45 percent).
