Inferno 0 - CHARLOTTE 8

Charlotte's goaltender Alex Westlund recorded a shutout as the Inferno dropped to the Checkers 8-0. The Checkers outshot the Inferno 33-27.

Friday, January 5th

INFERNO 4 - Texas 1

Jeff Miles, Brad Ralph, Anthony Battaglia and Steve McJannet each scored for the Inferno and goaltender Todd Ford recorded his seventh win of the season by stopping 34 of 35 shots on goal. Mike Jarmuth had two assists to help the Inferno win their first game in Beaumont.

Saturday, January 6th

INFERNO 3 - Texas 2

Owen Fussey, Bryson Busniuk and Brad Ralph each notched a goal for Columbia as Scott Sheppard had to assists as the Inferno defeat the Wildcatters for the second night in a row. Todd Ford stopped 21 of 23 shots on goal and Rob Gherson came in relief stopping 10 of 10 shots.

Sunday, January 7th

INFERNO 5 - Texas 4 (SO)

Owen Fussey scored two goals and Jeff Miles scored the game winning goal in the shootout as the Inferno sweep the first place Wildcatters. Texas outshot the Inferno 46-38 and the Inferno went 2-for-6 on the power play.

HOTTER THAN BLAZES:

Brad Ralph is tied for second in the ECHL with four winning goals...Ralph also has five points (3g-2a) in his lst three games...Mike Jarmuth is on a three game assist streak with four...Scott Sheppard is also on a three game assist streak with four...Chris Thompson has four points (1g-3a) in his last three games...Owen Fussey has three goals in his last two games...Bryson Busniuk is on a three game point streak with one goal and two assists.

The Inferno is 0-1-0-0 against the Checkers this season. This is the second of nine games this season. The Checkers are in 5th place in the South Division with 36 points (17-14-1-1).

Inferno vs. Gwinnett Gladiators

Carolina Coliseum

Gwinnett is in 3rd place in the South Division with 42 points (19-11-3-1). The Inferno is 1-4-0-0 against the Gladiators this season. The last time these two teams met, the Inferno won 5-3 in Gwinnett.

Inferno vs. Charlotte Checkers

The last time these two teams played was last week when the Checkers stomped the Inferno 8-0. This will be the third game against the Inferno and Checkers.
