STORM NOTES

* Home Disadvantage? For the first time this season Toledo has dropped back-to-back games at the Toledo Sports Arena. However, for the season Toledo is 13-5-0 at home.

* In a Major Way! This year's version of Toledo Storm has been a tough team. Currently, Toledo has collected 47 major penalties this season, which is second to only Reading (52) in the entire ECHL.

* Power Play! For the season, Toledo has scored 30 power play goals in 228 chances (13.2%), which ranks 24th in the ECHL.

* Penalty Kill! The Penalty Kill Unit has stopped 201 of 237 times they have been shorthanded (84.8%). That ranks 9th among all ECHL teams.

STORM WATCH

* Back to the Road! Following a strictly home weekend, the Toledo Storm return to the road this week with a pair of games against North Division foes Cincinnati and Wheeling. Toledo is 3-4-0 against the Cyclones this season, including a 4-3 loss this past Sunday. The Storm is 3-10-1 away from home this season, including 0-3-0 at US Bank Arena in Cincinnati. Toledo All-Star forward Jamie Tardif has enjoyed some success against the Cyclones this year, as he has scored 3 goals with 3 assists in 7 games against Cincinnati. Chris Blight has collected 4 goals against the Cyclones. Scott Reynolds (3g, 5a) and Barret Ehgoetz (2g, 6a) each have collected 8 points against the Storm.

* Saturday night in Wheeling! Saturday night, Toledo will make an appearance in West Virginia to take on the Nailers in Wheeling. Toledo is 2-1-0 against the Nailers this season, including 1-1-0 at Wheeling. Jamie Tardif (3g, 2a), Andrew Martin (2g, 3a), and Matt Zultek (2g, 3a) all have collected 5 points against the Nailers. Goaltender Dominic Vicari is 1-0-0 with a 1.80 goals against average and a .944 vs. the Nailers. Wheeling forward Jon Smyth collected 5 assists in 3 games against Toledo.

STORM TIDBITS

* Ken Magowan has scored three shorthanded goals; third most in the ECHL.

* Jamie Tardif is fourth among rookies in scoring with 27 points (9g, 18a).

* Paul Crosty leads the ECHL in major penalties with 15.
