December 17, 2007 - ECHL (ECHL)
Cincinnati Cyclones News Release

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators, announced this afternoon that ticket prices for the Wednesday, December 19 game against Wheeling and all five home games in January have been reduced in selected sections.

"The Cyclones want to give some relief for the holiday season shoppers," Kristin Ropp, Vice President/General Manager of U.S. Bank Arena said. "This is an opportunity for sports fans in Cincinnati to be able to enjoy an evening of professional hockey with their families at a price that is similar to what it was ten years ago. We hope that this will expose new fans to our game. Traditionally, after January 1 is when the excitement of the hockey season picks up."

The Cyclones will reduce prices between the goal lines, where prices are currently $17 per ticket and re-price them at $10 per seat. The end zone seats, normally priced at $12 per ticket, will be marked down to $8 per seat. The VIP seats in the first two rows around the rink will remain priced at $22.50 per ticket. The NASCAR weekend happens January 4-5, with driver Matt Kenseth appearing on Saturday, January 5.

Fans who are full 36-game season ticket holders have the opportunity to contact their sales representative for their bonus. Fans holding season tickets between the goal lines ($17 tickets) will be able to have an additional four tickets for the Wednesday, January 30 game against Charlotte, while those with full season tickets (36 games) in the end zone seats ($12 tickets) will be able to get two additional tickets for that contest with Charlotte.

The Cincinnati Cyclones are next in action on Wednesday night (Dec. 19), when the Wheeling Nailers come to U.S. Bank Arena for a 7:30pm tilt. The latest news on the team and the webcast of the game can be heard at: www.cycloneshockey.com.
