Nailers to Wrap Gifts for Salvation Army

WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers, the "AA" affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Philadelphia Flyers, will be lending a hand to the Salvation Army by helping wrap presents for the holidays.

Nailers players will be on hand from 2-6pm today at the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville, OH. Gift wrapping is free and donations are being accepted by the Belmont County Salvation Army. This marks the second consecutive year that the Nailers have teamed up with the Salvation Army to wrap gifts around the holidays.

The gift wrapping stand is located in the mall's center court. Normal hours are Monday through Saturday Noon-8pm and Sundays (and Christmas Eve) Noon-4pm. Fans are encouraged to stop by for autographs, pictures and to have their presents wrapped by the Nailers players.

Wheeling returns to action with a Wednesday game in Cincinnati at 7:30pm and will finish up the week with a pair of home games against Elmira on both Friday and Saturday. On Friday the first 2,500 fans will receive Pittsburgh Penguins Collectors Cups and on Saturday fans will receive Santa mini-bobbleheads courtesy of Jackson Hewitt. Both games begin at 7:35pm.
