TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors wrap up a two-game weekend set against the San Francisco Bulls on Saturday night at Rabobank Arena. The teams have met three times in the first four games of the season for both sides. Bakersfield is 1-2-0-0 against San Francisco. This is game number five for both teams, home game number three for the Condors, and road game number three for San Francisco. The teams will not meet for another month after tonight, on 11/20, in Bakersfield.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors fell for the third time in a row, suffering a 5-3 loss at the hands of the Bulls last night. Bakersfield tied it up at 2-2 in the first minute of the third period on a goal from C Parker Stanfield, but three third period tallies from San Francisco sealed the win. C Levi Nelson and F Brett Perlini also scored for the Condors while C Justin Bowers (1g,1a) extended his lead in the ECHL scoring race for the Bulls. It was the first game of the season for the Condors that was not decided by one goal and was the first-ever road win for San Francisco.
CONDORS NOTES
The Condors were assigned RW Tyler Brenner by the Toronto Maple Leafs from the Toronto Marlies and he is expected to play tonight... With a goal last night C Parker Stanfield now has 29 points (13g-16a) in his last 30 games for the Condors dating back to last season... F Alex Hudson has assisted on two goals since returning to the Condors lineup two games ago... D Olivier Dame-Malka is tied for second among all ECHL defensemen with four points...C Levi Nelson and Malka, each with 16 shots, are tied for fourth in the ECHL in that department... The Condors are the second-least penalized team in the ECHL averaging 10 PIMs a game through four games... F Brett Perlini is tied for fourth among rookies in the ECHL with four points (2g-2a). He scored a third period goal last night.
BULLS NOTES
F Dean Ouellet scored the first goal in Bulls history last Friday against the Condors... The Bulls have the top two rookie scorers in Ouellet (6pts) and F Jordan Clendenning (5pts)... G Thomas Heemskerk, with a win last night, is now 5-3-0 against the Condors over the past two-plus seasons. He played six games against the Condors last year as a member of the Stockton Thunder... D Joe Sova played his first game for the Bulls after being acquired earlier in the week...Former Condors F Hans Benson, a Bay Area native, was a scratch for the Bulls last night.
