
Condors Players Reading Around Town; Book Drive Set For Wednesday

This Week in Condorstown:
Monday, February 5th: Condors players Alex Rogosheske, Tyler Liebel and Kevin Truelson read to students at Valley Elementary School, at 1 p.m., to help promote the importance of reading in education and life. Players were also available for questions and signed autographs.
Tuesday, February 6th: Tune your radio dial to 106.1 KRAB Radio at 8:30 a.m. to hear Rocky Nash and Meat Head speaking live with Condors enforcer Andrew Oke.
Wednesday, February 7th: The Condors will take on the Toledo Storm and present the Adult Literacy Council Book Collection. All fans who donate a new or gently used children's book will receive $1.00 admission. This game also presents another CW Bakersfield and 106.1 KRAB Radio College/High School I.D. Night, where all college and high school students will get into the game for a buck by presenting a valid I.D. at the box office. Doors open at 6 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
Thursday, February 8th: Wake up with Todd Griffith at 6:40 a.m. on KGET-TV 17 News At Sunrise to get a sneak peak at this year's Todd Griffith bobble-head doll to be given away on February 9th, to the first 2,000 fans, 12- and-under.
Thursday, February 8th: The Big 96.5 KBKO with Kenn and Jenn in the Morning is welcoming Condors player, Scott Balan for another edition of "Ask a Condor" at 7:30 a.m. One lucky fan who has their question answered by Balan will receive tickets to an upcoming game. Thursday, February 8th: Condors player Brett Lutes will visit Sylvan Learning Center, located at 5115 Ming Ave., at 4 p.m. to read to kids and sign autographs. The learning center tutors children to help them be more confident in school and in life.
Thursday, February 8th: Don't miss the Condors Coach's Show, Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Q Street Lounge located inside the Holiday Inn Select at 801 Truxtun Ave. See and meet Condors players Reagan Leslie and Kevin Asselin as they'll join Head Coach Marty Raymond and Voice of the Condors Jake Stevens to talk about their strategy for staying on top in the Pacific Division! The Condors Coach's Show can also be heard on KGEO Hot Talk AM 1230 at 6 p.m.
Friday, February 9th: Condors goalie Danny Taylor will be on KERN 1410 AM to discuss his outlook on the season and his first year in professional hockey. Time to be announced.
Friday, February 9th: The Condors will battle the Stockton Thunder and after the game all season ticket holders can hit the ice for the Season Ticket Holder Skate With the Team Party! For entry, you must be a season ticket holder with a ticket or a valid I.D. Doors open at 6 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m.

Thursday, February 1st: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd attended St. Francis School to help promote their open house.

Tuesday, February 13th: The 7th Annual Tip-A-Condor Charity Dinner, presented by 107.9 KUZZ, will take place at Buck Owens Crystal Palace and benefit the Kern County Shrine Club. Condors players will trade in their skates for aprons and try their hand at serving food for "tips" and be available for singing and dancing upon request. During the evening there will be live and silent auctions to bid on items such as an all expenses paid trip to Utah on March 9th and 10th for the Condors vs. Grizzlies games, a Connor James signed L.A. Kings poster, dinner for four at Crystal Palace with a Condors player, Condors player collages and much more! Tickets are still on sale, $25 for adults and $15 for children under 10, at all Condors home games, in the Condors office and at the Crystal Palace box office. Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, February 17th: The Condors present the 3rd Annual Fighting Cancer Hockey- Thon to benefit " Links for Life" a local breast cancer resource center, courtesy of Grand Island Pools, 107.9 KUZZ and Bright House Networks. Organized by former Condors player Kevin Barrett, the Hockey-Thon will be a fun-filled 27 hours of hockey and include hockey players of all ages and skill levels. Entry requires a pledge of $200 and in return participants will receive a commemorative jersey and two tickets to the Condors game on Feb. 17. But that's not all! Don't miss the Celebrity Game at 5 p.m. preceding the Condors game on Feb. 17, which will feature former Condors players Paul Rosebush, Glen Mears, Paul Willett, Scott Hay, Quinn Fair, Al Murphy, Brian McCarthy and more!
