Alaska's Benson Suspended Two Games

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Monday that Alaska left wing Hans Benson has been suspended two games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #525 at Augusta on Feb. 2.

Benson was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a Game Misconduct at 19:36 of the third period, his third misconduct of the season which is an automatic one-game suspension. He is suspended an additional game because the penalty occurred in the last five minutes of the game.

Benson missed Alaska's game at Gwinnett (Feb. 3) and will miss Alaska's game against Fresno (Feb. 6).
