BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Condors soared high last week, winning both their games against Pacific Division foes. On Wednesday, the Condors shutout the Las Vegas Wranglers, 3-0, to regain first place in the division, and on Friday, they beat the Stockton Thunder on the road, 3-2, to keep themselves in the top spot.

The Condors are 26-12-5 on the season, including 14-7-1 at The Nest, where they'll be for the next five games.

The Condors take on the Toledo Storm at home this Wednesday, Feb. 7, and host the Stockton Thunder on Friday, Feb. 9. For both contests, doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.

Jamie Hodson recorded his first shutout since the 2003-04 season, stopping all 28 shots that Las Vegas threw at him. Josh Liebenow broke the game open at 10:05 in the first on a short handed goal, and the Condors never looked back.

Friday, Feb. 2:

CONDORS 3 @ Stockton 2 (Attendance: 8,379)

Todd Griffith and Scott Balan each scored a power-play goal and Josh Liebenow sent home his 19th of the year to seal the deal for the Condors. Jamie Hodson stopped 30 of 32 shots for his 20th win to lead the Condors. He has now matched his career-high in victories, which he set in 2001-02 with South Carolina.

PLAYER NOTES:

Josh Liebenow leads the team and the ECHL with six game-winning goals.

Brett Lutes leads the team with 21 goals

Kevin St. Jacques leads the team with 33 assists and 48 points

Hodson is now 8-1-1 in his last ten outings, and 20-5-3 overall.

Kevin Asselin remains on the 3-day IR

David Kudelka remains on the 7-day IR

Scott Borders remains on the 30-day IR

TEAM NOTES:

The Condors are on pace to record 95 points this season. Their all-time high is 91, set back in 2002- 03.

The Condors are on pace to win 43 games this season. Their all-time high is 41, also set back in 2002-03.

The Condors are on pace for their most-ever road wins (20). The most road wins in team history is 19 set in 2004-05.

PROMOTIONAL NOTES:

Wednesday, Feb. 7th is College/High School ID Night. All college and high school students receive admission for $1.00 by presenting their student ID courtesy of CW Bakersfield & 106.1 KRAB Radio. There will also be an Adult Literacy Council Book Collection, and those who donate a new or gently used children's book can also get a ticket for a buck.

On Friday, Feb. 9th, KGET-TV 17 and Barber Honda present the Todd Griffith Bobblehead Giveaway. The first 2,000 children, 12 and under, will receive a bobblehead doll of Condors All-Star Todd Griffith.

Friday will also be Season Ticket Holder Skate with the Condors! All season ticket holders are invited to take the ice with the team immediately following the game. (Limited skate rental available for $5.00)
