Shorthanded in Idaho
The Condors were down to 14 skaters in their Monday meeting with the Steelheads. Midway through the game, the score was tied at 1-1, however, as Bakersfield hung with the league's top club. Idaho broke the tie with forward Dampy Brar's second power play goal of the night. In the third period Brar help set up the third Steelheads goal to take a 3-1 lead. Bakersfield fought hard to come back, putting up 10 shots in the final frame. Later Shawn Byram finished the scoring with his 12th goal of the season at 2:30 remaining, on a wraparound while on the power play, but that's as close as the Condors got. The Steelheads took the 3-2 win.

Condors comeback to earn point
Bakersfield was the only team to come up with a win in the Steelheads building through this point in the season with their December 20th defeat. But that seemed like ancient history as Idaho stormed off to a 3-0 lead through nearly two periods. Left wing Jeff Goldie scored for Bakersfield late in the second frame to put the Condors on the board. Trailing 3-1in the third period, Goldie's linemates took care of the rest as the Condors received tallies from Shawn Byram and Christian Skoryna to tie the contest and shock the hometown team, sending the game into a shootout. Bakersfield came up empty in the extra session as the Steelheads took the win.

Bakersfield rolls over Aces
The Condors matched a season high for goals on Friday night, as they pounded the visiting Anchorage Aces. They hit early and often, as Jamie Cooke scored twice in the first 3:21. When the dust settled after 60 minutes, Jason Ralph and Christian Skoryna both added two goals apiece and Nate Anderson also scored in the win. The Condors put up a season-high 56 shots in the victory. Ralph also added a pair of assists for a four-point night, with one of his goals coming shorthanded. The Condors ended up with two shorthanded goals and three power play tallies on the night.

No repeat of Friday's feat
The Aces came out hard on Saturday night, looking to avenge the previous night's debacle. They took a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes. Bakersfield tied the game early in the second frame, and outshot Anchorage 16-4 in the period, but found themselves trailing 3-1 heading into the third. The Aces added a power play goal and former Condor Peter McRae netted his first professional career goal to take the advantage. Christian Skoryna scored his second of the night and fourth goal of the weekend, while Jamie Cooke also scored for the second straight night to knot the game at 3-3 after regulation. Once again, the Condors struggled in the shootout, scoring just once and suffering their eighth consecutive shootout loss.
