Upcoming week of February 3rd - February 9th:
· Thursday, February 6th - The Condors Coach's Show takes to the road, live from San Diego this week. Join the "Voice of the Condors", Kevin Bartl as he hosts the Condors Coaches show live on KGEO AM 1230 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Head Coach Paul Kelly and two Condors players will be the guests on the show.
· Saturday, February 8th - The Bakersfield Condors will be awarded the Community Service Award at the annual Kern County Hispanic Chamber Installation and Award Dinner. The dinner will be taking place at the Double Tree Hotel located at 3100 Camino Del Rio Court at 7:00 pm.
· Saturday, February 8th - FOX 98.5 and HealthSouth present The Blues Brothers as the Condors host the Idaho Steelheads. See Jake and Elwood Blues perform their song and dance routines from their smash hit movies. Single-game tickets are available through the Centennial Garden Box Office, open 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 322-2525, online at www.ticketmaster.com or at any Ticketmaster location. Group outings may be purchased by calling 324-PUCK (7825), or by visiting the Condors office at Centennial Garden. The doors open at 6:00 pm and the puck drops at 7:00 pm.
· Sunday, February 9th - Join the Condors for a special 5:00 pm start as they take on the Long Beach Ice Dogs for The Bakersfield Californian, Real Rock 104.3, and Coleman Homes Cheer Sign Giveaway Night. Everyone in attendance will receive a Condors cheer sign. Real Rock 104.3 will also be hosting Help For The Homeless with proceeds going to the Kern County Food Bank. Fans that donate two cans of food will receive one free terrace ticket to the game. Fans can also drop off their donation at the Real Rock offices located at 1400 Easton Drive, suite 144, or at the Condors Closet Retail Outlet at 1022 Truxtun Avenue across from Centennial Garden prior to Sunday's game. The Condors Closet is open Monday - Friday 11:00 am - 6:00 pm, on Saturdays, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm, and until game time on game nights. 101.5 KGFM, Paramount Farms & ARRC Technology will host T.H.I.N.K. Night - Turn Hockey Into New Knowledge. The program allows students to earn tickets to tonight's game through exceptional performance. The game is also another Time Warner Cable, Bakersfield Californian & John's Incredible Pizza Colonel Claw'd Kids Club Night. All club members receive free admission. The doors open at 4:00 pm and the puck drops at 5:00 pm. Centennial Garden Box Office will be open 10:00 am through game time for this special Sunday game.
Week in Review, January 27th - February 2nd:
· Friday, January 31st - The Condors played host to the Anchorage as The California Department of Conservation hosted Recycling Night. Fans donated over 100 recyclable containers as they received $2.00 off admission by bringing two recyclable containers (plastic, aluminum or glass) to the game.
Condors Droppings:
· The second session for Ladies Night at Condors University is scheduled for Thursday, February 20th. Ladies will get the chance to take to the ice and try their luck at scoring a goal, get a tour of the locker room, and try on a set of equipment as well as get to meet their favorite Condors players. The evening will begin at 6:00 pm and conclude with a meal at 7:30 pm. You also receive an executive level ticket to the Sunday, March 9th. All this for just $45.00. Sign ups are available at all Condors home games, the Condors Closet Retail Outlet at 1022 Truxtun Avenue across from Centennial Garden, or at the Condors office located at 1001 Truxtun Avenue.
· Mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 4th, which is KUZZ 107.9 Blood Drive Night. Staring today Monday, February 3rd, fans can receive one free terrace ticket with the donation of a pint of blood to the Houchin Blood Bank. Donations will be accepted at Houchin Blood Bank located at 5901 Truxtun Avenue or 2600 G Street. For more information about donation locations, as well as the Houchin Blood Mobile locations call 323-4222.
